This is one of those subjects most people who have an Internet connection have looked into.
Who doesn’t want to make money online?
The truth many have come to find out, is a lot more complicated that a hype filled money making scheme.
At the same time, millions of people around the world use the Internet to generate a full time income, so why are the online money making schemes so difficult?
Today, I don’t want to spend time focusing on all of the things that don’t work.
I want to talk about what does work, and why it works.
If you are making money online, you are marketing online, but what does that mean?
Digital marketing is the marketing of products or services using digital technologies, mainly on the Internet, but also including mobile phones, display advertising, and any other digital medium. Digital marketing channels are systems based on the internet that can create, accelerate, and transmit product value from producer to the terminal consumer by digital networks.
Digital marketing’s development since the 1990s and 2000s has changed the way brands and businesses use technology for marketing. As digital platforms are increasingly incorporated into marketing plans and everyday life, and as people use digital devices instead of visiting physical shops, digital marketing campaigns are becoming more prevalent and efficient.
Digital marketing methods such as search engine optimization , search engine marketing , content marketing, influencer marketing, content automation, campaign marketing, data-driven marketing, e-commerce marketing, social media marketing, social media optimization, e-mail direct marketing, Display advertising, e–books, and optical disks and games are becoming more common in our advancing technology. In fact, digital marketing now extends to non-Internet channels that provide digital media, such as mobile phones , callback, and on-hold mobile ring tones. In essence, this extension to non-Internet channels helps to differentiate digital marketing from online marketing, another catch-all term for the marketing methods mentioned above, which strictly occur online.
Today, we are not going to look at the obvious ways to make money online.
Of course you can make money selling stuff on Ebay.
Today, we are going to be looking at online marketing as it pertains to the network marketing business model.
The focus of this blog is the network marketing professional, so today I want to direct our efforts into looking at what it actually takes to grow your network marketing business on the Internet.
The first thing I want you to do is imagine a wheel with a bunch of spokes. At the center of that wheel, you have a central point where all of the spokes meet. This is going to be your online marketing system, or funnel.
Step 1. Understanding the concept of the funnel.
Awareness – the customer is aware of the existence of a product or service
Interest – actively expressing an interest in a product group
Desire – aspiring to a particular brand or product
Action – taking the next step towards purchasing the chosen product
The first thing you want your online marketing funnel to do is generate awareness. The easiest process is a self hosted blog. A blog gives you the ability to put all of the information you have as far as education in a central location. It also allows you to create different landing pages, or front ends depending on what is generating the prospects. All you need as far as a structure on the Internet is a blog that you have full control over.
How do you generate awareness with a blog?
You write informative articles, post informative videos and link to content from experts who know about what you do. You make your blog a place to share all of the information related to whatever it is you have to offer.
Don’t make your blog advertise your company directly.
Make your blog educate your customer about the advantages of your product.
Content is the driving force behind traffic generated through online sources.
You can also generate traffic to your blog from offline sources.
Your blog is there to educate people.
It should be fun to read and engaging, but the best way to raise awareness is to point out all of the advantages, making people want what you have before you even tell them what it is.
With a blog, you can write different articles about the same subject using different headlines. You can lay out your content in different ways and paint a picture of what works best.
One of the pages of your blog needs to be dedicated to funneling traffic into a follow up system. This is done with a simple email marketing program like Mail Chimp or Get Response. Mail Chimp allows you to build a list of 500 people for free, and to me, that is a good place to start.
When you look at how much a blog will cost you, usually less than $50 a month, it is definitely a worthwhile investment. This is going to be your central hub. Every piece of information you ever compile should be put on your blog. If you are following this easy process, you will definitely love it. Before long, you are going to have a powerful centralized hub of online content, and have a lot of knowledge about what you are offering.
How do you generate interest with a blog?
This is where you give people the opportunity to learn more.
If you start with a self hosted blog like Word Press, you are going to find it very easy to create pages. Opt in forms can be put into these pages very easy using various plugins. Every page you make has the ability to support an opt in form. Remember, Mail Chimp is free. Get people on your list and send out a broadcast email every day. Talk about what you are passionate about on any given day.
If you miss a day, that is OK, but this is the easiest approach to generate interest and keep people interested. It also keeps things relevant and up to date. Send a broadcast email to your list often. Always be talking about the advantages of the product, or service. Also, use your email as an opportunity to generate even more content ideas for your blog. You could even create an archive on your blog for all of the emails you send out.
This allows your emails to be indexed by the Search Engines and generate traffic.
If someone fills out a form for more information, you have generated interest. If you have a page that never generates any interest, keep creating pages until you find one that does. There is no limit to the number of pages you can create and the number of keywords that can be optimized. Test your headlines and your process by continually creating different pages with different content concerning the advantages of your product or opportunity.
How do you generate desire using a blog?
You generate desire by educating people.
Your product has a number of advantages.
You have to get to know what these advantages are, and then get to educating people about the advantages. This is why it is important to not flood your content with information about your specific product. Educate your prospect and build a desire within them. Show them the advantages through education and making them want what you have before you present it to them as an option. There is an art to it.
Again though, the blog is the best thing to have in place when it comes to being able to make real money using the Internet.
How do you get someone to take action?
This is one of the things having a blog is going to help you streamline.
How do you get someone to take action on what you have to offer.
You need to have and understand a call to action.
There is an art to all of this.
Your approach will need to be perfected, but the key is building a relationship through valuable exchange.
Relationship marketing is the value of exchange.
Provide people with good information, and give them the opportunity to plug into you.
Give people the opportunity to contact you through your blog, and use every opportunity you have to follow up with them.
This is not a complicated process.
It’s super simple.
The best thing about it is that your content continues to work for you every day, and the more you add, the more effective the whole content mechanism becomes.
