You can do all of these things perfectly – and if you miss this, it might be all for nothing.

If you are here, you are a relationship marketing professional. This means you deal with people every day. You are a people person. You build relationships through the exchange of information. If you miss this though, you might be missing out on making your dreams your life.

It doesn’t matter what business you are in, this is appliable. It is applicable to life and your relationships. Being mindful will help you make the world a better place. If you are not mindful of your circumstance and don’t have a real sense of self-awareness, you may be cutting 80% of your business out of the loop.

There are 16 different personality types, and while some of them are similar to a couple of others, your personality is vastly different than most everyone you know. This holds true for everyone. Think about the numbers. If you have personality type #3, you have a 1 in 16 chance of being like someone else, and when you draw it out, it could take you 100 chances to find someone with a personality that is similar to yours. In addition, just because someone has the same kind of personality you have does not meant they are going to see things the same way.

The necessity for more high-quality research in this field has also been identified—such as the need for more randomized controlled studies, for providing more methodological details in reported studies and for the use of larger sample sizes.

If you can look at yourself from an exterior perspective, you are able to gain a better understanding of the whole picture.

When you learn to see things from an external perspective, you begin to see how pointless the fear of failure is. You begin to see the reasons why you have insecurities, and changes you can make to improve the quality of your life.

The reason you want to see things beyond yourself, and your own limited understanding should be obvious for so many reasons. When it comes to relationship marketing, the message is clear and simple.

Mindfulness Reduces Your Stress

When you consider everything in the moment, you can examine what is making you stressed. Stress will kill your business because it destroys your ability to focus. It kills creativity and makes you anxious. Stress causes us to make decisions that move us away from where we want to be. You also don’t want to be stressed out for your own health.

Stress kills people, and if you aren’t paying attention to the way you feel, it could be to your own demise. I am not being negative. It is the truth. Mindfulness is important for your overall well being.

Mindfulness Keeps You Focused

Focus all by itself is going to give you an advantage over most. The world is full of distraction. Being mindful is a habit that takes practice, but it will help you free yourself of distractions. When you are mindful you focus on the task at hand. You are considering what you need to do and why. What is the best way to get it done? You aren’t looking at things in a reactive way.

Think about how easy it is to get distracted when you are online. You look at one thing, then another. All the bells, whistles and pretty picture make you forget what you were looking for in the first place. The distractions are everywhere.

Building a business in this industry is something you can do working a couple of hours a day. During that time you need to be focused on your work. If you want to be focused, be present in the moment, and participate in what you are doing. Don’t just go through the motions, but be an active participant. You have limited time in the day, and every second wasted on something pointless are seconds you will never get back.

Mindfulness will help you prioritize

Paying attention to the way you feel is going to give you the upper hand over your schedule. It is going to help you prioritize the things that are important.

Again, you only have so much time in the day. You definitely don’t want to spend all of your time working on your business. Your family should take a higher priority in my opinion. After all, isn’t that the point of working towards financial freedom and a stable residual income that will pay you year after year? You want more time with your family, not less.

Being mindful will give you more time because you are focused. When you have more time, you can think about the best ways to use that time. Understand how little time there is each day, and make the absolute most of it. IF you want to follow this advice accurately, you MUST pay attention to all those little moments.

Being mindful will help you hear what your customers and prospects are saying to you.

Relationship marketing is about communication. Marketing is a two way street. It isn’t just opening your mouth to educate. It is shutting your mouth to listen.

When you are mindful, you are paying attention to all of the circumstances and variables in your environment. You are looking at the big picture. If you are practicing mindfulness, you are going to get better at it. Eventually, you will learn to be present in every moment.

When you are present in the moment, you are engaged in the moment.

There has been a lot of research done on the subconscious mind. Your conscious reality does have an impact. This is the point. If you are practicing being mindful, and actively listening, you are doubling down on your data. You not only have the data on the surface because you are listening and thinking about what your prospect is saying without being emotional.

In psychology, the subconscious is the part of the mind that is not currently in focal awareness.

If your focal awareness is on your prospect, your subconscious mind is recording and reemphasizing that data. If you aren’t emotional about the feedback, it will come up with the most logical steps for you to take. You have to listen to yourself though, and to listen, you MUST be aware.

Think about every moment of life. Get in the habit of it. Think about what you are doing now. When you are done focusing on the task at hand, focus on what you need to do next and prioritize. Pay attention to your environment, and actually listen to what people say. Being mindful will give you and the outcome of your marketing a tremendous advantage.
